wife thinks I should keep this 1 , but I built it to sell.I finished this 1 except for strings intending to string r up in the shop. Got to the shop with this 1 and another almost like it and found I'd forgotten to bring the bolt for the bridge treatment.I looked around the shop and noticed the pegs on the wall we use to hold the instruments in place.Took 2 down ,cut off the back end of the bracket, and it made a nice shinny and different looking bridge. The other CBG sold before I could finish tuning it,,,,same "bridge" styleALL SOLD

The sound holes are pvc grommets found in the elect. section in Lowes.I just sand off the printing on the top and then paint.
I make 12 to 15 or so in a "soundhole session" in different colors so their all ready when I start assembling ( usually Thurs is assembly day) if all went as planned the 1st of the week.I devote part of a day to glueing up/building necks, part of a day making the little tail pieces I make out of scrap left over.
The idea is by Wed afternoon or Thurs morning at the latest I'm ready to start assembly on all the CBG's and DB's thats going to the shop wall on Friday for the public to see and buy if I'm having a good week.
Notice that most all my CBG"S follow a formula that makes it easy for me to change the look yet the CBG is basically the same.Thats the reason behind the soundhole colors sometimes matching the neck or a small color I tried to pick up in the box coloring to jazz up an otherwise sometimes boring "just looks like the next 1" CGB.
Sessions of neck installs, sessions of soundhole installs, session for string installs, gets me more time= more CBG's to sell.
