This is what I started with, a mid 1960's-70's all original (even the ultra light gauge steel strings and cardboard box it came in) Chinese 'Lark' 1/2 size budget acoustic bought for £6.00 GBP/$7.62 USD. Doesn't look too bad.....from a distance......!!
