We got new dining chairs, so the old oak ones were donated to my workshop. Had the legs, backs, and spindles off in a jiffy. Took two seat sections and glued together to make a body blank.Paint is Tremclad in slate gray. This paint is normally used to refinish heater vents, and finishes with a hammered steel surface.Note the copper tape shielding...put it in all my builds to hush those pesky single coil pickups.
