I filed one fret that was high and tightened the pup down and she is finished. Plays smooth and clean, low action, great tone cap that really changes the tone to a deep moan. I love this git.

Les, i opened the hood and got out the magnifier. The good orange drop reads: iC 104K 1223 250H MSR. I don't know what all that means, but it works the best of any cap i've tried on 250 pots.
Hey Les, thanks. Wish i could tell you what cap value it is, but it comes from a cap grab bag a fellow put together with about 20 caps each different. It's an orange drop with lots of tiny condensed type. I couldn't tell what value. I need a more powerful mag glass to tell you. Maybe i'll open her up and get a good loop to see. I want to know too. This one sure works well. I could tell it worked just from the tap test before installation.
Thanks Maddog, Uncle John. I think this format is a history channel. CBN photos would make a nice history book on CBGs and also a great how to. I've learned a lot from this great site, not to mention the friendships that develop. I wish i could get to some of the "Junkstocks" and big meets where you'd get to sample lots of builds and meet some of these mysterious characters like Bug, Pick, and yourselves.
That is a beauty. We need you in a History Channel Geetar Resto program. Actually, that would be entirely neat. Throw in cbgs and the pottery and those great women's torsos you made.
