I took the hoves of a deer (aka "deer toes"), polished them up and hung them from a handle made out of antler. Beautiful, sounds fantastic, but I'll never do that again! I spent DAYS sanding and polishing those little beggers. New rule -- any feature that adds to looks and doesn't change the sound is a stupid feature.
