A friend wants me to build a train theme guitar. We're finally getting down to details. He has a room with a big display for his train collection and wants a guitar for the room. He took a picture of his own trains since we couldn't find a good train theme box that he liked. I'll apply this picture to the box. Below is the picture he sent to me. The top is after I modified it a bit to give it a more rustic look. Which picture do you all like best? He likes the clean, but I like the rough....its his guitar but I want him to be happy with it and I'm thinking he'll like the rustic look better once it's done. Thoughts?

Pick, he voted for his picture....rough is ok with him. I think I'm going to use the certificate as the box seal labels. I'll definitely put some of that to good use. Thanks!
Pick, I'm going to use the t-shirt transfer method you told me about. I used the kind for dark shirts on a previous guitar. After getting some poly on it, it actually brightened up. For that guitar, that was a good thing. I'll be using the dark shirt stuff again on this one.

cool AR ;-) yeah that would make a great customs seal . ;-) i've used monopoly money too ;-)
its got a train on it too ;-) and you can print them off and glue em on ;-)
Top one.
what pick said.
depending on your transfer method . your image may lose some clarity anyway .. pre rough may end up too rough .
and remember ... (after the fact) .you can still rough up clean ,, but you can't clean up ruff .
ps .. i started another train theme a while ago and modded up some pics that were not used . ill send them to you if you think you can use them .
Top. Very good choice. Also, for a look, the Anonymous Pick just did a train theme.
