  • My Dan Mullen slides just arrived in the mail :-) Gonna load em in the Harley saddlebags and ride out to the cabin and give em a good test drive! Can't wait, they look awesome. Pics later.

  • Mine coming tomorrow!!

  • There is a Danish town near where I live and I've heard the old Danes use SNIT,   I think you and Dan are on to something cool with these slides.   I used to have a red one and I think I paid at least $15.00 for it.   I would like  a pretty one again, but my tapered brass slide suits me best.

  • Uncle John, i'm thinking the CBG folks would appreciate a shot glass slide. We'll see how they come out. They will make good "kiln fillers" that's for sure. I've been making "snits" (shot glasses) as glaze tests for a long time but never as slides. While at the studio where many of my guits are hung i use them as slides from time to time. My dad Otis used to refer to his shot glass as a snit. He used an eye wash glass as a snit.
  • Hey, Dave.  Slides AND shot glasses?!  Life is good.

  • Looks good. I've got a batch glazed and ready to load in early May. My first test slides. I'm using Grolleg porcelain with a test of each of my favorite glazes. Interested to see how they hold up in play over time. Mine are oriented the other way, with the foot at the other end. Some of mine are closed for use as a shot glass. Others open, but not as open as these. I'll try a batch of this shape too to test them.
  • Man, those are pretty.

  • yup  ..  hey ..  sexy  fretboards  back  there  btw   ;-)
