D'fence - experimental supposedly alder plank (name is a pun because it's a fence plank, and could be used in defense... No? #terriblePunAnyhow - I wanted to experiment with primitive tuners a little more, so there is one eyebolt WITHOUT wingnut, and Roundhead bolt with wingnut. Funny thing is I threaded the wood for both, yet eyebolt works perfectly but the other slips after tuning up. I suppose it might be straight pull vs angle. What are your thoughts on this?Oh and legs are leftover iroko, plank is supposedly alder, aluminium bridge/nut, hinge tailpiece + piezo in bottle cap salvaged from my previous pink shovel build (it didn't get much love anyway)Strings were random leftover that snapped in previous builds. So scale length is about 24ish inchesI tried to make even more primitive with woodscrews - one screw or two where one holds the string in wood, and the other pushes the string down with the washer on top) and failed miserably :(

Nice grain. If you are going for primitive, well, maybe I am thinking old and rustic.... A little barn red and black paint on the metal pieces can easily make them look old and rusty.
