Cut Down Face of Headstock-01

As part of my Flying V Dulcimer project, I have been working on the headstock. I first want to make the depth of the headstock 0.75" deep, so I'll need to remove a bit of wood from the front face of the headstock. Here I've marked how deep I want the cuts to be made and then I marked a series of guide lines about 1/8" apart. Then, using my pull saw, I cut a series of cuts to my desired depth, counting strokes as I go. A count of 15 strokes gets me close.
