"Curly Head" is a birthday gift for my wife who has beautiful curly hair. It is a cigar box "Uke Bass" with 21" scale using Pahoehoe polyurethane strings. Tuned EADG just like a full sized bass. Tapered maple neck and head, maple fret board, zero fret, maple bridge with corian saddle and rod pickup with 4 piezos. The small Arturo Fuente Curly Head box is kept in perfect balance with a removable counter weight that can be replaced by a long leg for a stand up configuration! She loves convertibles.
