What do you get when you build an instrument to a ukulele scale length using dulcimer fretting and conventional cigar box guitar tuning? THIS! I found the old vintage box looking lonely and forlorn in a local junk shop. Although it seemed too small to resonate properly, it was crying out for a second life as a roots instrument. Mahogany neck, poplar fretboard, cherry brace and enclosed tuners round out this little beauty. And she sings sweetly!
