  •  For those interested in the progress of patina, the copper was polished in June of 2018, a few days before build. Average humidity.

  •  Thank you AGP! I just did a quick count and eleven of the fifteen working CBGs I have currently have the copper tailpiece. They are all from the same piece of seventy or eighty year old household copper pipe.

  • I screwed that up. The first pic I posted was a year ago. This comparison of patina was taken today. The well-used thing is starting to show it's age.

  • That's what I am talking about.  I use scrap heating vent metal.  That copper looks a bit better and may look great with patina.  Nice copper wings holding down the pick up.
