Here you can see how the neck will be mounted. They call this design a "neck-almost-thru" design. Also, notice the "lip" upon which the soundboard resides. I cut all but about 2" out of the center of the cookie-tin's bottom, then cut diagonal lines in each corner of the octagonal box about another inch and bent under the bottom so that the lip is actually 2 layers of tin.
