Concert Cigar Box Ukulele

This is one of three ukuleles I have been working on for the past three months or so. Unfortunately two months back I had a pretty serious accident with my table saw while building. I lost part of my thumb and messed up my index and middle fingers pretty good. Kind of put a damper on building and learning to play, but has given a great respect for the saw.

    Well, keep working those fingers and do occupational therapy if needed.  Hope they come back.   Just as an interim idea, I just tried playing my DGB tuned git fretting with just the ring and pinky.  I could play quite a bit that way.  2 finger chords.

    John that would be my fretting hand. For now I can't curl my two fingers. Thanks for the kind words.

    Looks nice.  I hope you adapt well to the hand injury.   Strumming or fretting hand?   I have arthritis in my hands, particularly the left thumb.  Everything is still doable.
