Thanks guys - i had a lot of trouble with fret rattles, it just wouldn't settle down, i decided to make it fretless now, haven't got a four string fretless in my collection. Maybe i didn't get the fretboard perfectly flat above the scarf joint, but it sounds amazing and really sings on clean amp with slide! (-:
