Cohiba BHK-56

The latest thing to emerge from the Digly Kennel. A BHK-56 box with an oak neck and an Artec rails humbucker. First time I've managed to do fingerboard dots - Yay ! It's not solid like my last Cohiba but the lid is 7/16 MDF, so it's solid-ish. Control knobs are closely spaced purely for aesthetic reasons. I'll do a sound test when I've had some coffee.

  • Thanks Letha. You're right about the fashion statement; the control knobs should have way more separation but I didn't want anything in the shiny black centre stripe. For the next one, I'm going back to something more acoustic. Not sure what yet.....maybe a violin body :-)

  • That is beautiful Digly. To me, this is like a trendy fashion statement, I would be proud to play it. Nice!
