  • Ah yes.  That makes sense.  I wonder if the old blues guys used the back edge of a pocket knife blade for a slide?
  • I think it's all about shapes why it doesn't work the way I like it on a guitar .  A common slide is round and then there's more action instead of a flat knife you must position the knife more correctly on the strings.  Well, that's my explanation.

  • nice slides, what kind of wood you use, do you glue them roughly together and then shape the slide or
    do you have another procedure ?
  • I did some digging in my backyard and found a broken knife and made a slide of it.
    Is it a knifeslide or a slideknife ? i call it my "clawslide" :)
