The Spokane Ukestra (ukulele) Group I attend uses 2 commercial songbooks and the HUG download and print songbook at the meetings (approximately 900 songs to choose from. Often players pass out printed song sheets. All three books are pretty hefty to lug around.
I designed our guitarslingers songbook with a tablet in mind. It allows me to continually add and revise songs, so they are available to all the group members freely (and anyone else who wants to use them). The songs are intended for 1-finger chords on GDG tuned, 3-string guitars. Only chord letters, no minors or sevenths. Two indexes, title and chord count, make it easy to find the song you want. It is working well for our group.
