  Thanks Erasmo. Yup, a soundpost and a bass bar just like a "real" fiddle. When I first started with fiddles I was given a couple of broken violins so I could get a good look at the inside and see how things were placed. I've closely adhered to that on most builds except on my gourd and tin can fiddles which are a different sort of animal.
