Thanks for the complement and the warning Uncle John. The head stock is still about a half inch thick. The sapele was rough cut so it started out at about 15/16th thick. This provided enough wood to do the neck and head stock in one piece..adding the 1/4 inch thick poplar for the fretboard provided some nice contrast, I thought.

That is some nice work. Don't let the head stock get too thin.
