Would the name "chess paul' be too cheesy for the name of this guitar? Long story, but in short; This started out as a tribute to Chess Records and the blues artists that worked for them. modeled after the 1955 gold top Les Paul guitar.I am going to have some pics of Chess Records blues artist and an actual logo from a 1960's chess record. Just not sure yet where these will go on the body. The parts in the pic are not secured, just fitted in for the pic. I have lots to do, but its fun. Will end up a 6 string electric 24.75" scale length, 22 frets, and plastic keystone tuners off an Epiphone Les Paul. Pick ups from CB Gitty, parts from stew mac, and mighty mite bridge and tailpiece.
