Spring from a loose leaf notebook binding driving by an 8 ohm speaker superglued to one end and picking up a piezo transducer on the other end. Driven by a LM386 rigged like a little Smokey without the gain jumper and using a stereo input jack to connect the ground to the battery's negative terminal when plugged in. Works good to add just a little bit of extra something to the sound. Might try different springs in the future.
