Took six. Three for the body, Three for the trim. (trim slices had to have type on them, cut thin and some broke). Box has a plywood top with veneer, wooden box. Plywood top is thin and rigid, holds the pickups and stuff.Any info on the “Padron”company would be welcome. This one is marked - 26 Padron 7000 - All I know is Nicaragua. Great box for guitars, picked up 2 at the local cigar box shop, and 4 on ebay.

Yes. Good to hear from you Ron. I also built a uke with this box. They are sturdy.
I just completed 3 ukuleles using that same box and they sound great.
