Variety is the spice of life! A memorable collection.
Thanks for sharing Uncle John and the reminder of the CBG pioneers who have gone before us.
Nice Trio of Builds 'UJ', Pick's Swampies are Legendary
Thanks, Jonathan. A bit of CBG CBN history: Swamp Witch guitars were made by a good guy in Canada, Tornonto, I think. He went by the name of Annonymous Pick here on CBN. His witches were pretty desirable and he sold a lot and gifted some too. Generous guy. He died a couple years back. The swampies were fretless 3s with a very hot, good sounding pickup that Pick waxed and improved. There are quite a few videos on CBN of people playing swampies. You can search out Pick's photos too.
Dave Lynas was and artist/musican from Duluth Minnesota. He died a couple of years back too. He often painted fret markers like I did on Red Rocket. Lots of us bought painted/ decorated ceramic slides from Dave - and cups too. Most times when he shipped a package he would do fantastic art on the package. My CBN profile pic is one that Dave did. If your are curious you can search out his pics and videos too. Those two guys were a big loss to CBN and the CBG world. Another loss in the same time range as them was Wes Carl who was a good guy and made really cool amps.
