Progress on my next guitar. I used the leather dyes (USMC black & medium brown) to do the sunburst pattern. A little heavy on the black but still looks good. The maple fretboard is glued to the pecan neck and ready for shaping with the router. Blue tape shows me where to stop routing. Humbucker and single coil pickups from http://www.cbgitty.com are in the foreground. I used a piece of stainless to make the plate on which the switch and pots are mounted.Finally got my crowdfunding campaign started at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/archangel-arts-guitars-and-ukulelesOnce my carpal tunnel surgery is done I can really focus on learning how to play.

Bluesheart: Blue painter's tape. That's all. Gotta be very ginger taking it off when you're done with it, though. Some of the border paper will want to come off with it.

Good wishes on your surgery, recovery and improved play. I have a not so good left thumb right fore arm that kind of hurts the playing some days.
