New walnut fretboard, saddle, and bone nut. Both donated by a friend at a little shop that makes historically accurate crossbows. That's right. Crossbows. I put a single coat of boiled linseed oil on both the walnut neck and the box itself. This brought out a beautiful glow in both woods.

Thanks, John and Dave. The darkening the cigar box with the linseed oil was an experiment that worked. I have another one of these boxes, and I'm going to do the same. And yeah, Dave, except for that slight buzz when fingering the 7th fret position she sounds awesome.
