These are used closed tuners. One of them rattles a bit. I discovered a little detail about tuning ukuleles. When the strings are new they must stretch over time. The first hour after I strung it I must've retuned the damned thing half a dozen times. It's been a day and it's still drifting out of tune but not nearly as fast. I'm taking it to a free ukulele class at Guitar Center in the morning. Now I want to make more ukes! Not a bad idea since they've come back into popularity for some reason.
