The neck is a piece of maple that was originally earmarked for a full-length guitar. I cut it down for this instrument. Fretboard and bridge are rosewood. Nut and saddle are cow bone. Fret dots are pieces of 1/4 inch oak dowel. Strings are Martin clear flourocarbon. Sounds surprisingly nice. Used http://www.ekips.org/tools/guitar/fretfind2d/ to calculate fret positions. Had to tweak the scale length in the program slightly to get it to come out properly on the printout.
