I guess i never looked at it that way before Oily, but that is something to keep in mind. I am reading David Sutton's book right now and one thing that kicked my butt into just doing it was a passage by Shane Speal about how "it's time to write the damn book"Great book on CBG's by the way if you haven't checked it out.
Very sound words Oily. Perfectionism is a nasty disease to be afflicted with in this game for sure, but i try and look at it as my personality coming out in the build. That's what makes every one special and unique I imagine. Thanks for the support.
Thanks for the support guys! I love the look of the floating fretboard on alot of archtop and jazz guitars, so that's where that detail came from and for some reason my "never satisfied" nature makes me agonize over every detail but i'm trying to curb that and just get it finished so i can start playing. Cheers!

Yup, the extended fretboard is a good look, depending on label detail. It doesn't add any functionality and they are fiddly. but we like purdy things.

I'm still waiting to see if that's true. ;-)

As I told my wife when she met my brothers for the first time: "If they had been polite to you, it means they didn't like you."
