Well, in truth Delmer Dog is detachable but thinks of himself as a lap dog. Whenever I start to play it, he either howls or trys to crawl in my lap. I'm unsure if this is related to the fact that I'm just learning to play or he thinks the thing is hurting me so he needs to get between it and me. This is my first guitar and I have a lot to learn so I'm sure the hound and I will have a lots of fun. This CBG was a soldier build, provided to me by Antonio. He really poured his heart and soul into building it and it turned out great. He's a fellow Veteran so hats off to him. TOMAHAWK6

Is the hound detachable? Said hound could muffle the sound :)
