close-up shot of the headstock. You can see where I drilled into the wood for eye bolt tuners. I didn't fully understand how to make them work and ended up settling for cheap tuners. I had to sand down in order to make them fit. Drill cavities exposed.

Hi Uncle John. Thanks for dropping by and checking out the pics. Funny thing is, it did take me days (haha) to put it together. It really could have been done in an hour, but I experimented with different things and then had to take time to undo my experimentation. But I loved the process and learned a lot from it. It is a tiny thing at 22" scale but it's big enough for my 5 yr old to handle and a joy for me to play too.
As you noticed, build #2 is in the works. I'll be sure to post pics. Thanks again!
Looks alright. I like it when a build looks like a guy wanted a guitar and wanted it today. A poor guy with guitar lust would not spend days or weeks crafting something. He would use what he had and hope it worked.
