A non-working 1957 Philco Model E816 table radio converted to a solid state 2 watt practice amp using the great sounding original speakers.

Thanks! I picked up one other mid 40s table radio to convert to an amp at the same garage sale. I need to add a wall-wart power supply to this one before it's ready for sale - it just ate a 9 volt battery in less than 3 hours of playing time!
