  • you really can't on this, John. The only challenging part is getting the holes in the right places. The Honeytone is a decent little amp with on/of/volume, tone and gain pots, 1/4" input jack, 1/8" output/headphone jack, and a jack for a nine volt adapter wall plug. They sell for around $20 at Guitar center and on Amazon. The little speaker is ok, but I'm told it is easily replaced with a larger one. Believe me, I know NOTHING about electronics, though I have learned to make simple solder connections. If you want a cool little portable cigar box amp, I don't think there's a simpler way (well, you could buy one. Folks like Wes Carl are building pretty nice cba's)
  • Cool!  Sound easy, but I can usually find a way to screw it up!
  • John, It's a Danelectro Honeytone. Has to be the absolute easiest way to build a cba, just open the case up and take everything out in one piece. Drill some holes in a box, and instant cba! I see that Gitty has some amp kits now. same idea. might try one of his next.
  • Looks great.  Where did you get the circuit board, etc?
