8 months into my cigar box guitar journey. This 2nd build is a 4 string acoustic. The box is Wal-Mart keepsake, 11.75: x 7.75" x 4.5 " deep. Neck is maple and fretboard red oak, both from Home Depot. Kept the box hardware except handle, purchased antique brass tuners to match. Strings are 46, 35, 26 phosphor bronze wound, and 17 steel; tuned GDGB. Now switching my learning and practice to 4 string from 3 string. I have a sound sample I'll try to upload as well. there's 5 pics loaded. Looks good and sounded great on the video. I like GDGB a lot. I finger chord it like you did in the video and then plug it in and play slide. Nice cat. Super nice bridge and saddle.
