Well thought i would give it a try..carves like brass, just a tad softer. This one is 5/8" x 3".

    Yeah I have carved a lot of brass and copper bridges over the years..never tried aluminum till now. I have a few customers asking about doing them. I want to try combining burl with a few. Plus try and carve a few with skulls on. I tried all kinds of dremel bits and found that using my old straight cutters worked the best.

    Beautiful ., we generate a lot of aluminium scrap at work, never have tried to carve it, but it does have a nice ring to it.,
