Thanks guys! I always try to get plates that will have a good spot for the bridge and pick up. Learned that the hard way! I'm gonna try more screws for sure on my existing builds to see if it helps. I always want to make as few holes as possible in the plates, but I'd rather have them sounding as best as possible.
Me too on loving old license plated. Looks great. Nice head stock and great color of plate. An excellent LPG builder often uses about 8 small screws. I use 6. I think if we get the plate anchored down, there is less buzz.

Nice!, it's hard to beat an Old Licence Plate build, well done with the Bridge and Pup positions as to maintain the integrity of the Plate.
