Looks are deceiving....the neck stick does not touch the metal inside the pan. Also, the bridge is an actual bridge over the neck stick, it only presses on the aluminum, not the wood. It's like a giant rectangular resonator suspended from it's own convenient aluminum "wrapper"! No need for amps with this one!
J.P., what kind of a half baked idea is this, man? I would never have thought of that. It looks really good and like you. Does it put out some acoustic sound? That fork on top is the icing on the cake.
