The cow horn head stock cover split so I moved on to this, my clamps are beg steal or borrow so thank's to my friends this is it. Had to resist taking them off before an overnight

I take mine off in about 1/2 hour. The join doesn't have great strength at that point but the glue is set by then and that is all that is needed for most joins. An old woodworker friend told me this and it has made things much easier.
