The wood is the only thing I can find here in Japan (cedar). It is a medium hard wood from what I understand. I hope that it holds up. I stained it with an Oak color twice and then put one layer of clear coat. I expect that it will not work out the way I hope, but I will find out. Thanks for the comment.
