Hahaha! Thanks. I don't know much about scalloped fretboards other than that I like playing them. I have a friend who is a metalhead who loves them but I first saw it on an acoustic. So I researched and they have been around for a minute. "The first use of a scalloped fretboard is often attributed to the 19th-century French luthier René François Lacôte. He has been referred to as ‘the Stradivarius of the guitar’, with many of his instruments featuring scalloped boards."
