Bass Diddley Bow. 33" Scale. Uses a flatwound low E string tuned down to low D. Plays well in conventional bass guitar position, or as an upright bass, or on the lap using a slide.

It's got a kind of "just right" sort of prescence. I'd be happy to have one like it.
