This is my second attempt. The neck is two pieces of maple glued together with a strip of walnut between them and a walnut fret board that has inlay fret markers instead of actual frets. I used a door strike plate to route the three strings tuned to open G.

Yes. It is acoustic and electric. The deeper Brick House gives it some volume acoustically. Unfortunately I believe I placed the piezo on the base string side. That I can correct later if I can get it away from my father in law. It was his 79th B-day gift.
