  Yup. I get that. But I do have a couple of true cbgs that have nice volume for playing alone. I built some bigger boxes for 4 strings and playing with my six string friends. This year seems to be a store bought six string year for me.

  Thanks.  Not worried about acoustics much.  I tend to practice while others are sleeping.

  Sturdy. That neck and box are not going to fall apart. You did decrease your acoustic volume some.
