Very nice Mikko. I built a close relative to the Jouhikko, namely a Shetland Gue. I never thought to use a cigar box though. Great idea.
These instruments have an interestung sound, don't they.

At the moment it sounds terrible, but mainly because of the lack of my skills. I have never played bowed lyre before, so it will take some time to learn how to play.
I will take a video at some point but not just yet...
