This is the second guitar I made several years ago. I put ukulele friction tuners on it back then but with steel banjo strings it was tricky to keep in tune. So i’m Making it playable again. Improvements. Machine tuners, Striped fretboard and something for the sound hole yet to come.

Thanks Uncle John. I’m very fond of this build. It set my path back then. I haven’t done much better since then at making more volume or good looks in my builds. I have worked out some of the details however and find making improvements to the old builds is as rewarding as building new guits. When the music shop opens today i’ll Get some strings for this old Goose and fire her up.

Very nice, Dave. I like. Those friction tuners do not agree with me either. Good to go back and improve or change up some old builds.
