My $3 find. 3 string dulcimer. And some of my birdhouses. One summer i made 41 of them. This led me to box guitar making. You can see the similarity. It's all in the holes...

    Door knobs for perches? I've resisted perches as well as paint and roofing. I'm sure they would look great. Just not one of my presets.

    Thanks Uncle John, There was another one at the sale also. $2 but it was baddly bowed.

    You got the dulci for $3.00?    Nice photo of great subjects.  Would look good framed and on the wall.
