Now I am in a stand-still, Need to order parts when have the $$. This is going to be the 9 string ala Big Joe Williams. In the meantime, gonna start the next build, ala uncle crow. May make the neck lower profile where it sits on the body rather than having 3/4" on top, thinking only 1/2".

over 2 years and this project never finished. I ended up giving the guitar body and the new neck to a friend who is an artist to do something with. Last weekend I bought an acoustic at an antique mall for $25. Good shape, just no strings. That will be my Big Joe Williams guitar. I am not really sure why, but I have been intrigued with his style and 9 strings, so going to make one.
