thanks railroaddon that is a high compliment but there are those that are way better than me at building cigar box guitars, but i just do as much experimenting as i can and most cool stuff i come up with is pure accident,or maybe the right term is pure discovery. this build is still not finished yet but almost, just got to trim it out. then i will try to do a video with it. got to learn a new tune first.seems like all the tunes i do on vid is one continious song that has a lot of different parts. thanks again man.
thanks joe, aspire to inspire before you expire,is a sign i read one day and i said yep i like that.sound is one area where i am constantly experimenting. not much dissapointment there cause some cigar boxes i have used have great to average tone fer string vibration. that is one reason why i like this craft so much. i always ask the box[got tone] then i find out if the box is telling what kind of tone it has.
That's an absolutely beautiful guitar Brian! One of a kind, you so inspire me and I'm sure many other folks with your creative energy. Your stuff never ceases to amaze me.Bet it sounds awesome!
not quite as loud now as with the big can,but i cut a hole in the speaker cover below the mason jar lid insert and it still has a cool reso sound. put a Ted Crocker TESLA PIEZO under the speaker cover and the sound improved 100%.
