  Thanks Tim - The footpeg clamp was an old piece of drum hardware I was given. Not sure what it did on the drums though. Sorry. Thanks for looking!

  Thanks again everyone! Yes the "foot" extends for an upright type of feel. And yes Randy, that is one of those hong kong "specials". Sounds surprisingly good actually. I have a dobro that is almost completed that will be using one too. Can't wait to hear it on a six string. It picks up the bass very nice though. Really can't beat them for the price!

  Do I spy a pup and loom form Hong Kong? I think I recognise it as Iv used them before! How do you find it compared to other leading brands?

  Nice! Use an old leather stamp for the diamond burn designs?
