beercan mic #1 front

first mic build - beer can from 6'er of the swill - input & vol. from a console cd player from the trash - drain screen on the front - metal banding - mounted to a bottom piece of a broken mic holder - headphone speaker as mic -second build in the works -tallboy can with some vintage gutssomething like an old capsule mici will post a sound sample soon -

    Bone, Oh  Brother is great.  Glad you checked it out.  Lots of us on this site would put it in our top 5 movies.

     

    Oh, got to agree with you, Bob and especially E D.  A 9 v amp, can mike WOULD be cooler than goose chit.

    thanks guys - built in amp would be cool - i havn't seen "o brother where art thou" checked some out on youtube - 

    i really like that can mic - gonna build a kinda replica with a nice old can -

    Makes me think of my fave movie, 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou", where the boys were paid to sing into the can.
